Buyer Beware of Auctions!
When you purchase inventory at a bankruptcy auction, it is sold in “as is and where is” condition, no warranty or guarantee of any kind is expressed or implied. You also have to pay 100% cash up front and you have to take possession and truck out what you purchased in most cases by or before the end of the auction. At that point you’ll have to then find a secure safe storage location for all the inventory you purchased and eventually truck it back out to a job site. All of this at much additional expense. Many of the auction houses charge an additional 10% - 15% buyers premium fee on top of the winning bid price.
